Golden Hour Sentinel
A quiet vigilance pervades the frosty highlands of the Balkans as the first rays of dawn slice across a rugged limestone plateau. Bathed in a brilliant, low-angled backlight, a solitary female deer stands frozen in the subalpine meadow, her thick winter coat beautifully outlined in a halo of golden morning light. Her large, sensitive ears are swiveled forward, tracking the subtle murmurs of the waking forest below, while the dark, shadowed mountain brush behind her isolates her graceful form in a moment of pure, undisturbed wilderness.
