Cauldron of Sculpted Stone
The drone hovered directly over a rugged precipice on Lake Superior, peering straight down into a mesmerizing, naturally carved sea cave basin. Swirling currents of emerald and deep jade water churn inside the smooth, concentric sedimentary layers of the ancient sandstone cliffs, forming a dramatic aquatic eye trapped within the earth. Along the rocky rims, the hardy northern forest leans over the churning pool, its canopy a brilliant tapestry of changing autumn oranges and rich evergreens that frame the raw, wave-sculpted engineering of the shoreline.
