Stardust Over Frozen Waters

As twilight yields to the absolute dark of an alpine night, the monumental granite amphitheater of the High Tatras watches over the sleeping waters of Morskie Oko. Wisps of high-altitude clouds streak dynamically across a deep indigo sky, illuminated from below by a brilliant tapestry of countless stars. Along the foreground shoreline, a pristine tongue of early winter snow creeps toward the water's edge, giving way to an organic mosaic of frost-slicked river stones. The dark, glass-like surface of the glacial lake rests in complete atmospheric stillness, perfectly bridging the gap between the monumental, ancient geometry of the peaks and the infinite clockwork of the cosmos above.
